LOS ANGELES—A $25,000 reward has been offered to the public for information leading to the suspect responsible for a hit-and-run that injured a woman on Wednesday, February 11.
At around 9:05 a.m, a 50-year old woman was struck while crossing a marked crosswalk on Fountain Avenue at Lyman Place, the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim has been identified as Tatiana Leytman, who was on her way to the grocery store when she was struck. Video shows the moment Leytman was hit by a red or burgundy 2005 to 2010 Chevrolet Uplander which sustained damage to its front right side. Leytman was thrown back several feet and the suspect fled with no intention of stopping.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with severe injury.
