HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for the suspect(s) who killed 27-year-old father of two Henry Estrada on Sunday, December 27 in the Hollywood Hills.

According to a LAPD press release, Hollywood patrol officers responded to a radio call around 8:30 p.m. of a “shooting [that] just occurred” in the 2000 block of Sycamore.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Estrada was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LAPD Lt. John Radtke told KTLA that Estrada was running away from the gunman on Camrose Drive before he was shot to death.

The LAPD blog notes that “the suspect was only described as a male who left in a white or silver sedan eastbound on Camrose Drive.”

The circumstances and motive for this homicide is currently unknown as stated by authorities. Estrada’s sister has set up a GoFundMe page to help support funeral expenses.
