NASHVILLE—Well get ready country music lovers because the nominees for the 48th Annual Country Music Association Awards were announced on September 3. Leading the pack of this year’s nominees is Miranda Lambert with a total of nine nominations including Entertainer of the Year. Her husband, “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton picked up multiple nods as well including Entertainer of the Year.
Followed close behind Lambert is Dierks Bentley with five nominations, Keith Urban with four nominations and Kacey Musgraves and Luke Bryan with three nominations apiece. The festivities will once again be hosted by country darling Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.
The awards will be handed out live on Wednesday, November 5 on ABC. A full list of this year’s nominees are listed below:
