BEVERLY HILLS — On May 30, Maybourne Hotel Group shared some details of their newly owned and operated hotel, Maybourne Beverly Hills.

The Maybourne Hotel Group recently bought the Montage Beverly Hills and plans to renovate and reposition the hotel to be in line with the group’s three London properties: Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley. This will be The Maybourne Hotel Group’s first hotel in the United States. The group quotes themselves as having “the world’s most legendary luxury hotels” and decided that a location in Beverly Hills, near Rodeo Drive, would uphold their standards.

The two hundred room property was acquired by the Maybourne Hotel Group for $415 million. Maybourne Group executives said this acquisition is part of a global expansion strategy bringing Maybourne’s European concept to new markets around the world. The group also announced that other transactions will be coming in “due course.”

The hotel offers a 20,000 square foot spa, a rooftop pool overlooking Rodeo Drive, a mineral pool, steam rooms, and several areas meant to be places to relax. There are also several dining spots offered within the hotel itself.

Hotel rates range from $595 a night for a king room to $10,000 for the most expensive suites.

The hotel has temporarily suspended operations due to COVID-19 but hopes to be up and running soon.
