HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Actor and singer Evan Ross, 26, has sold his Hollywood Hills house for $1.29 million. Ross initially listed his house back in December 2014 at $1.499 million; 16 percent higher than what it was ultimately bought for.

The one-story home is located on a cul-de-sac at 8716 Sunset Plaza Terrace, just a few miles north of Sunset Boulevard. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms on 1,686 sq. ft. of total house space. The home features a fireplace and both carpet and hardwood floors. The master bedroom has its own stone bath. A security system for the house is also installed. Outside, the backyard has a patio, porch and spa/hot tub combination. It also boasts a “Zen-like koi pond.”

Ross bought the house back in 2012 for $1.359 million. It was officially sold on June 10. It was listed by Craig Strong from John Aaroe Group, while the buyer was represented by Rita Semprevivo of Keller Williams.

Ross is the son of legendary singer Diana Ross and businessman/mountaineer Arne Næss Jr. He and singer Ashlee Simpson, 30, got married in August 2014. They are expecting their first child, a daughter, later this year. Ross expressed his enthusiasm to People magazine at the thought of building a home nursery for his child.

The actor’s notable movie gigs include roles in “ATL” “Jeff, Who Lives at Home” and “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.” He also stars in the upcoming “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,” which will arrive in theaters in November.

Ross is currently awaiting the release of his debut solo album.
