HOLLYWOOD—Well it was bound to happen at some point, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is no longer the #1 movie in America. Replacing the superhero picture is the romantic-comedy “The Other Woman” starring Cameron Diaz with an impressive $24.7 million debut. The comedy performed better than anticipated.

Claiming the #2 spot was “Captain America: The Winter Solider” with an additional $16 million. The film has already grossed more than $225 million domestically. The religious flick “Heaven is For Real” continues to spark interest in moviegoers who forked over an additional $13.8 million. In just two weeks the film has earned close to $50 million at the box-office.

Taking the #4 spot was the animated flick “Rio 2” with a plentiful $13.7 million and rounding out the top five was the Paul Walker action-flick “Brick Mansions” with a modest $9.6 million. It’s easy to say next week will see the box-office rocking as “The Amazing Spiderman 2” hits the multiplex. Let’s just say the box-office battle for the next four months will be interesting with major flicks arriving each week until the end of summer.
