BEVERLY HILLS—The City of Beverly Hills offices, City Hall and the BH Public Library will open at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13 as an all-employee training session will take place on Columbus Day.

Public safety and other essential services will continue to have normal staffing. Therese Kosterman, Public Information Manager for the City of Beverly Hills, indicated in press release to Canyon News that the all-employee training session has consistently taken place on the second Monday in October for the past eight years.

The goal is to elevate service to residents and businesses. The training session is expected to take place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts. The BHPD and BHFD will be on active duty on October 13 at all times, but some employees are expected to attend training session if their duties permit it. Programs and classes at City parks and public works essential services will operate as normal.
