BEVERLY HILLS—On Friday, May 22 at 4:30 pm, the Beverly Hills City Council will be holding an emergency meeting to discuss writing a letter to Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, requesting an amendment to the state’s health order so certain retail and restaurant establishments can reopen in Beverly Hills.

According to guidelines posted on May 13, all retailers can open for curbside/doorside pick-up only, with the exception of indoor malls where there are no curbside accesses. If approved, this letter can expedite the transition of Beverly Hill’s reopening.

Lili Bosse, currently serving her second term on the City Council, urged community members to voice their thoughts on the matter, writing on Instagram:

“It’s a BIG DAY in Beverly Hills as we move further towards a safe, healthy and vibrant future. Please tune in and share your thoughts and ideas.”
