BEVERLY HILLS—The Young Professionals Network (YPN) summer mixer took place at John Allan’s inside the Saks Men’s Store from 6-8 p.m. on June 24.
The event was coupled with food from Il Fornaio, a high-end dining chain for Italian cuisine, and refreshments from Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
This mixer was intended as a networking opportunity for young entrepreneurs in and around Beverly Hills. The entry fee was $20 for pre-registered individuals, and $30 at the door.
The YPN mixer was promoted by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce. Since 1923, the chamber has aimed to promote the well-being of the local economy. The chamber comprises of 800 businesses, and works on informing people about networking, social, and educational events. Their site also has job listings.
There are other free events open to the public such as the United Nations welcome on June 25 from 6-8 p.m. at the Infiniti Beverly Hills. Many dignitaries are expected to attend.
They also have a quarterly breakfast event that brings industry leaders together. The next one is on June 26, from 8-10 a.m. at the O’Gara Coach Beverly Hills.
