BEVERLY HILLS – On Wednesday, March 5, the Beverly Hills Police Department welcomed Rabbi Jonathan Aaron as Police Chaplain for the BHPD. Rabbi Aaron will promote spiritual and emotional assistance to those in the community and members of the BHPD.
Duties for Rabbi Aaron include being on the scene of traumatic incidents or other unusual problems that may be encountered by the Beverly Hills Police Department. Lt. Hoshino of the BHPD informed Canyon News that Rabbi Aaron is currently one of the senior Rabbi’s at Temple Emanuel and he is volunteering his time as a Police Chaplain.
