CENTRE ISLAND, NY—The New York home of musician, Billy Joel, 70, was broken into and vandalized over the weekend of Saturday, January 25 and Monday, January 27.

The burglar(s) broke into Joel’s home, where several of the singer’s motorcycles were vandalized. A total number of 12 bikes were reported destroyed during the home invasion. The suspect(s) broke into the home by breaking through the glass door of Joel’s garage. His home office was also damaged during the incident.

Joel is known to be a motorcycle enthusiast and owns a shop with vintage choppers in Long Island. No one was home at the time of the burglary and it was reported to officials that the musician discovered the damaged property inside his home. Aside from damages, no property was reported stolen. Authorities are still investigating the case.
