SANTA MONICA—Theatre by the Blind is the only entirely blind theater company in the country, according to their artistic director Greg Shane. They are performing at the Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica on June 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28.
Lead by their artistic director, Greg Shane, who is completely blind in one eye, Theatre by the Blind is performing the dramatic comedy Phenomenal Women at Santa Monica’s Promenade Playhouse. The Promenade Playhouse’s description of the play reads: “Music underscores this dramatic comedy where phenomenal women must make life-changing decisions: Do they run away from what haunts them or find courage to unleash their power?”
Performance times are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday.
