HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Bob Odenkirk, 52, the actor who portrays the morally bankrupt criminal lawyer in the Emmy Award-winning series, “Breaking Bad,” has just purchased a Hollywood Hills property for $3.3 million.

The 2,827-square-foot mid-century modern property was built in 1940. The interiors have recently been refurbished by Betsy Burnham and noted garden designer, Judy Kameon, has redone the landscaping, which is included in her book, “Gardens are for Living.”

The home includes five bedrooms and four full bathrooms and features hardwood floors, two fireplaces, wrought-iron details, colorful authentic period tile, arched doorways, and French doors. The backyard includes a swimming pool and spa, built-in outdoor furniture centered around a fire pit, and boasts breathtaking canyon views.

The property was originally listed at $3.495 million. Odenkirk recently sold a similar Hollywood Hills Mediterranean-style property for $2.45 million.

James Nassar of Westside Estate Agency was the listing agent. Sharona Alperin of Sotheby’s International Realty represented Odenkirk.
