GRIFFITH PARK —It took more than 50 Los Angeles County Firefighters over an hour to extinguish a brush fire in the Hollywood Hills on Monday,  June 15.

At approximately 1:00 p.m. firefighters responded to a call at 2382 North Canyon Drive and were challenged by the steep terrain in the area.

Canyon News spoke to Los Angeles Fire Department representative Margaret Stewart who said “The fire was small, but difficult to get to.”

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation by officials.
