UNITED States—The California Republican party announced their endorsements for the upcoming elections. California’s primary election is on June 7, 2022. The last day to register to vote in the primary is May 23, 2022. The general election will be held on November 8, 2022.

According to the web page of California Secretary of State, Shirley N. Weber Ph.D., all of California’s active registered voters will receive a mail-in ballot. County election offices are expected to mail ballots by May 9, 2022.

The California Republican Party announced its endorsements for every office in the state of California.

Meet the CAGOP Endorsed Candidates

Dianne Feinstein(D-CA) has served as a Senator of California since 1992. Her term ends on January 3, 2025. Senator Feinstein will be 89 years of age on June 22, 2022. She is seeking another term.

Alex Padilla(D-CA) has served as a California U.S. Senator since 2021. He is seeking a second term.

Mark Meuser is running for U.S. Senate. He is a tri-athlete, and an attorney with Dhillon Law Group, and the center for American Liberty. More about this candidate and answers to many questions may be found on his website. https://markmeuser.com/

Senator Brian Dahle, Running For Governor

The former assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, Nathan Hockman is running for Attorney General. He has vowed to tackle the homeless crisis in the state, the opioid epidemic, and crime.

For Lieutenant Governor, CAGOP has chosen Angelea Underwood Jacobs and is endorsing Senator Brian Dahle for Governor of California. For those who would welcome a change in Government. Dahle’s platform, “It’s time for a change.”

Dahle has promised  to “tell the truth, bring balance to the legislature, and work hard for you.”

Lance Christensen has the CAGOP endorsement for the Superintendent for Public Instruction, and Lanhee Chen for Controller.

Board of Equalization endorsements goes to Hon. Ted Gaines for District 1 and Peter Verbica for District 2.

Dahle Statement

The California Republican Party has chosen candidates to endorse in 42 of the congressional districts across the state. In the Canyon News coverage area, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, the Santa Monica Mountains, Topanga, and Westwood are in the 33rd Congressional District. That seat is currently taken by Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu.

The 30th Congressional District is represented by Brad Sherman (D-CA) Ronda Kennedy is challenging him for leadership of the 30th Congressional District in the primary election on June 7, 2022. Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and Woodland Hills.

Wes Hallman (R-CA) is running against incumbents Judy Chu. Adam Schiff is also Representing California’s 28th District including Hollywood Hills, West Hollywood since 2013, and Districts 29, and 27 prior to that. Schiff has been endorsed by the Hillary Clinton campaign.
