HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The world’s highest-paid DJ, Calvin Harris, purchased a Hollywood Hills home in December 2017 for $5.045 million.

The home is roughly 6,000 square feet and is two stories tall with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It includes a music room and a private recording studio. Fellow DJ Steven Angello and composer Tom Rothrock are both previous owners of the property.

The home was built in the 1940s and features vaulted ceilings, oversized picture windows, a pool underneath strings of bistro lights, and open patio space. The property overlooks much of the surrounding Los Angeles County area.

According to Forbes, Harris, 33, reportedly earned more than $40 million in 2016.

This is not Harris’ first Los Angeles real estate deal. In 2013, he purchased a Beverly Hills property for $7 million before selling it three years later for $5.7 million. He is also the owner of a mansion in Beverly Hills, which he purchased in 2014 for $15 million.

Gary Gold of Hilton & Hyland, a subordinated agency of Christie’s International Real Estate, was the listing agent. Harris is known for his collaborations with artists like Rihanna. Their song “We Found Love” was a hit on the Billboard Music Charts. He was previously involved in relationships with singer and actress Rita Ora and pop sensation Taylor Swift.
