BEVERLY HILLS—From May 2-4, the Municipal Gallery will display art entries submitted by 140 young artists from both Beverly Hills and its Sister City Herzliya, Tel Aviv for the Centennial Youth Art Contest.

The theme of the contest was “ Beverly Hills 100 – What It Means to Me,” and 140 youths aged 5-18 submitted paintings, drawings and photographs, according to a press release from the City of Beverly Hills.

Mayor Lili Bosse will be one of the judges for the contest. The co-chairs of the Centennial Youth Art Contest Committee are Annette Saleh, Dr. Sharona Nazarian and Brian David Goldberg. According to the official Beverly Hills’ website, the contest was formed “to encourage the youth community to learn about Beverly Hills’ history and commemorate the Centennial.”
