UNITED STATES—Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) hs introduced a motion to Condemn Censure of House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Friday, September 27.
According to a press release by Congressman Biggs, the reason for the motion is due to the misquoting of a classified conversation between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Today, I introduced a motion to condemn and censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff. Chairman Schiff’s blatantly false retelling of President Donald J. Trump’s conversation with Ukrainian President Zelensky was inexcusable.

While Chairman Schiff was reiterating the President Trump’s conversation falsely the transcript does not indicate President Trump stating “I need a favor from you, I will only tell you 7 times so listen.” He also did not say, “I’ll call you, don’t call me.” The actual transcripts of the conversation are included in a 5-page memo of small talk between the President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy covering the latest news in each one’s respective countries.

Rep. Adam Schiff Fabricates Fake Version of Transcript
SERIOUSLY?! Why did Chairman Adam Schiff MAKE UP and fabricate a FAKE transcript? Could it be because the REAL transcript was so innocent? The President released the REAL one, you can read it for yourself! #FakeNews

When Schiff was publicly called out on misquoting the POTUS, he replied calling it a “parody.”
President Trump remained transparent in the investigation by making the transcripts of the conversation between him and Zelenskyy available to the public.
Congressman Biggs made the following statement:
“During yesterday’s hearing, Chairman Schiff’s opening statement included a blatantly false retelling of President Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian President. Democrats previously initiated an impeachment inquiry which leads to one of the most serious, constitutional duties of Members of Congress, removal of the President of the United States. Through this process, if the President has committed high crimes or misdemeanors, Congress may overturn the election of the President and the will of the American people.
It is therefore inexcusable to toy with the process and mislead the American public with such a statement.”
