BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills is celebrating the Los Angeles Dodgers making it to the World Series for the first time in 29 years, by turning Beverly Hills City Hall and the Electric Fountain to the color of blue.

Beginning October 20, blue lights will be aimed at the City Hall tower; and the colorful Electric Fountain at Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards will be set to all blue lighting. The city of Beverly Hills indicated that the blue lighting will be maintained throughout the World Series playoffs.

The Dodgers were victorious in Game 1 and Game 4 of the World Series, however, the team lost to the Houston Astros in Game 5, with the Astros now holding a 3-2 lead in the series. The Dodgers have to now win Game 6 and Game 7 to win the World Series with both games being held in Los Angeles.

The last time the Dodgers made it into the World Series was in 1988.
