HOLLYWOOD—OMG, I was screaming with the thought that it finally happened on “Days of Our Lives.” Clyde Weston who has weaseled his way out of so many shenanigans took a bullet and it was one that I thought finally ended the threat to Salem and so many Salemites for years. He has committed so many crimes I don’t even want to go through the list, but notably he was the person responsible for murdering Abigail in a shocker that fans of “DOOL” never expected.
Cat and Chad got the edge on Clyde, who was holding Gabi and JJ at gunpoint. Chad diffuses Clyde, but not before Cat’s mom, Catharina, barges in and places a bullet in his chest. Clyde was about to disclose the whereabouts of Abigail’s remains, but he couldn’t. Why do I think this is critical? This means there is a possibility that Abigail Deveraux could return to the foray, how and when, I cannot tell you.
It sad that Cat’s mom has been exposed because it seems that Cat, Aaron, Felicity and Mark’s saga has come to an end, and this potential relationship between Chad and Cat is done, at least for the time being. Let’s talk about JJ and Gabi because they had a date, and the feelings are starting to rumble back up. I like these two together and when they broke up all those years ago, it was a heartbreaker, but fate always brings them back.
Philip Kiriakis is creating utter chaos in Salem right now. His war with Xander has slowed a bit as they both received 50 percent of Victor’s empire. He utilized Belle as his lawyer in the fight, while he shared a steamy kiss with Stephanie who is kind of over Alex and is smitten by her ex. I am enjoying all the shenanigans that Philip is getting into. The problem is that letter from Victor is forged, and Vivian knows that, as does Kate.
Vivian tried to relay that to Roman, but Kate intercepted that call before the tea could be spilled. With that said, Kate should be careful, as Roman may not be pleased with this latest betrayal. Belle has already caused the ire of EJ who was not pleased with his former sister-in-law for tanking his case against Mark. Once you become EJ’s enemy you stay his enemy until it’s too late. I loved seeing him antagonize Kristen who he knows is toying with Brady and his new ‘friendship’ with Ava.
Yes, Ava is ready to go to war with Kristen over Brady and the two are getting very close. You have two vixens ready to go to war over a guy who is not the most stable. Good luck with this battle Brady, I hate to say it, but it might be your fate to be with Kristen whether you want to or not. Javi is being very messy first pushing Gabi to go after JJ, while flaunting his new relationship to Leo’s chagrin. In addition, Leo thought Hattie was ‘Lady Whistleblower’ but nope, it’s not her so start thinking because I am at a loss for words now.
Leo is dancing with the Darkside, as Doug the III tried to sell that necklace he stole from the Time Capsule. Julie is still just grieving, while Jennifer has warned her aunt to be very cautious of Doug’s grandson who might have some sinister antics because he owes some serious money. Leo made a call to Ava apparently who might know someone who can pawn the necklace off. The big question is Doug III willing to get away with his ruse before he is exposed?
