BEVERLY HILLS-The City of Beverly Hills’ Community Services Department has announced that the popular outdoor entertainment series that features free concerts and movies is returning on June 1.
According to a press release from Heather Sumagaysay, Publicist, for the City of Beverly Hills, summer 2014 will feature 10 Thursday evening concerts and five Sunday movie nights, which will begin on Sunday, June 1 with the film “School of Rock.”
All events will take place at the Beverly Canon Gardens on 241 N. Canon Drive between Thomas Keller’s famous Bouchon restaurant and The Montage Hotel. Movies shown on Sunday will be displayed on a giant, inflatable screen starting at 8 p.m. Thursday night concerts will take place at both 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. to accommodate schedules. Parking will be available for patrons at the Beverly Canon Gardens parking structure.
Tables and chairs will be available on a first-come first served basis. Participants are asked to enjoy outdoor dining at surrounding eateries in the City and to pick-up custom “to-go” boxes for local restaurants.
More than 15 concerts will take place during the summer series which includes classic rock, Motown covers, jazz, Latin groves and Doo Wop.
