HOLLYWOOD —Luke Yankee’s popular seminar series, “Conversations on Craft,” highlights well-known figures in the entertainment industry; it continues to inspire and surprise its audiences. This month, the guests on April 13, will be people who move effortlessly between theatre and television.

Actress Harriet Harris won a Tony in 2002 as the comically sinister Mrs. Meers in Broadway’s “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and she just completed a turn Off Broadway opposite Victor Garber in the Roundabout Theatre’s highly acclaimed production of Noel Coward’s “Present Laughter.” Television audiences have enjoyed her in her recurring roles on “Desperate Housewives” and as Bebe, the cutthroat agent on “Frasier,” among many others.

Ms. Harris will be sharing the spotlight writer/producer, David Rambo. Currently serving as the Supervising Producer on “CSI,” one of the most widely viewed television shows in the world), Mr. Rambo is also an award winning playwright, whose one-woman play about Ann Landers, “The Lady With All the Answers,” recently appeared at The Cherry Lane Theatre Off Broadway and is scheduled at many regional theatres around the country. He is also working on a new play about Ronald Regan for Broadway next season.

David Rambo “Conversations on Craft” is hosted by writer/director Luke Yankee, who has worked extensively on and Off Broadway and at regional theatres around the country. The next event with Ms. Harris and Mr. Rambo will be held at 7:30 pm this Tuesday, April 13, at the Stella Adler Theatre, 6773 Hollywood Blvd. In addition to a one-hour seminar followed by a Q&A with the audience, included in the ticket price is a wine and cheese reception with the guests.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales goes to the charity of the speakers’ choice as well as to scholarships at Stella Adler-Los Angeles, the sponsors of the series.
