RIVERSIDE – The California School for the Deaf, Riverside will be hosting ASL Silent Night 2014 on Monday, March 24. The event is meant to provide various scenarios for attendees to practice American Sign Language with deaf students. The situations that will be practiced include: pizza, food store, dentist, car shop, airport, bus terminal, coffee shop, traffic court, salon, prison, post office, fast food, police officer, video phone and a movie theater. The event is meant to encourage one-on-one practice with ASL.

Anyone is encouraged to come to the event. The cost of general admission to the event is $5.00 and $3.00 for children under 12. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until 8:00 p.m. It will be located in the multi-purpose room at the California School for the Deaf, Riverside on 3044 Horace Street in Riverside, CA.
