SANTA MONICA—A patron at The Britannia Pub located at 318 Santa Monica Boulevard was arrested on December 13 after a racially fueled altercation in which she threw a pint of beer at a bartender and refused to pay for it.

Santa Monica Police Department officers arrived at the pub at around 10:10 a.m. to investigate a report of an assault made by an employee.

When the officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, whose name is Kelly, according to an employee of the pub.
