MALIBU—Officials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Missing Persons Detectives are looking for a 30-year-old Colorado woman who was last seen in the city of Malibu.

Jennifer Michelle Lorber was last seen on Thursday, May 23 at 11 p.m. According to the LASD she traveled by plane from Colorado to Los Angeles.

Lorber checked into a motel located on the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway after she arrived in Los Angeles. She rented a vehicle for her visit in the Los Angeles which was a white 2018 Toyota Rav4 with the license number BJM8505/WA. The vehicle was found abandoned at 1 a.m. on Saturday, May 25 on Pacific Coast Highway at Paradise Cove Road.

The search started Saturday night and continued into Sunday. Authorities continued the search for Lorber into Monday.

She is described as Caucasian woman, standing 5 feet and 1 inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. Lorber suffers from depression and her family is deeply concerned for her safety.
