MALIBU—On July 9, a woman was arrested after her suspected involvement in a collision that caused a power outage from Lost Hills Road to Mulholland Highway.

The suspect, 20-year-old Danielle Donatoni of Agoura Hills, had been driving a 2002 Toyota Tundra pick-up when she reportedly crashed into a telephone pole at around 5 a.m., according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.  The driver was taken to a hospital, but the extent of her injuries are not immediately known.

Crews from Southern California Edison (SCE) were able to disentangle the vehicle from among the power lines.  Power from more than 2,000 residences had been reportedly knocked out as a result of the collision.  A temporary lane closure also occurred on Las Virgenes Canyon Road where the collision happened.
