DUI Crash Claims Male Victim’s Life

WEST HOLLYWOOD—A male driver was killed in a traffic collision after an allegedly intoxicated driver neglected a stop sign and crashed into the victim’s car on Monday, April 20.

Just after 2 a.m., the deceased was driving on westbound Curson Avenue towards the crossing of Curson and Fountain Avenues in West Hollywood. Though the deceased was initially identified as a child, subsequent reports have since confirmed that the person killed in the DUI crash was the adult male driving the vehicle.

The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed to the public, but according to reports t is a man in his 40s from Panorama City.

The driver of the Blue Kia that allegedly ran through the stop sign was arrested at the scene on charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
