MALIBU—A fatal car crash on Pacific Coast Highway left one person dead and the road closed for several hours on Friday, November 8.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Malibu/Lost Hills Station informed the public via their Twitter account, to stay away from PCH between Big Rock and Topanga Canyon as they conducted an investigation into a fatal collision off of PCH and Tuna Cyn in Malibu. 

PCH was shut down in both directions for over four hours and re-opened back up to the public before noon. Canyon News reached out to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs Station for further information. Details of the victim have not been disclosed to the public. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
