HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A 19-year-old woman was rescued by officials from the Los Angeles Fire Department on Tuesday, January 29 at 1:25 p.m. after suffering from a medical emergency.

The incident transpired at 2984 N Lake Hollywood Drive. The LAFD conducted a hoist operation for the young hiker. Upon airlifting her, she was reported to be in fair condition.

Fire Station 76, Battalion 5 responded to the call. The station is a part of the West Bureau region and is located at 3111 North Cahuenga Boulevard. In 2018, Station 76 responded to a total of 1039 incidents. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department website, the average turnout for calls was one minute and four seconds with an average travel time of 5 minutes and 16 seconds.
