PACIFIC PALISADES—A fire damaged a Pacific Palisades restaurant around 9:30 p.m.on Wednesday, November 27 when it reached a flash point and burned itself out.

A report of heavy smoke coming from the restaurant located on 15415 W. Sunset Boulevard was made at 9:37 p.m.

According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart, the fire appeared to have reached “flash point” where the contents of the room preheated by smoldering fire and ignited at once. The fire in the one-story commercial building burned onto itself prior to arrival of the LAFD.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire. There were no reports of any injuries during the incident and the cost of damages are yet to be determined.
