WEST HOLLYWOOD—A fire burned two floors of a condominium building in West Hollywood, north of the Sunset Strip, during the afternoon hours on September 18.
The fire was reported to the Los Angeles County Fire Department before 4 p.m.
It took firefighters less than an hour to knock down the fire. One firefighter sustained injuries during the blaze and had to be wheeled out.
Numerous units were damaged because of the fire, displacing many residents. Sunset Boulevard was closed to traffic in both directions. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
