LAUREL CANYON—Officials from the Los Angeles Fire Department battled a grass fire that broke out shortly after 6 p.m. The fire took place at 9134 N. Laurel Canyon Blvd.
It took more than 31 firefighters to extinguish the flames. They remained on the scene to battle hot spots in the area to ensu re the fire was extinguished.
