NAPLES, FL—On Saturday, October 26, a man dressed in a Donald Trump costume was
assaulted. Officials from Collier County Sheriff’s Department indicated a man was reportedly waiting in line at the Naples Haunted Gross House at the Collier County fairgrounds in Naples.
The victim was waiting in line with his family when a 14-year-old girl walked up, and punched him in the jaw and went back to her group in line laughing. The victim asked the teen why she hit him before he decided to press charges.
Wink News reported Justin Kas spoke to the victim Bill Piper asking why he pressed charges? Piper relayed that he did it to teach her a lesson, in hopes that she would learn that she had to be accepting of people’s differences.
The teen faces misdemeanor battery charges with the intent to cause physical harm. the assault was recorded on video by the teen’s friends which was posted on Instagram.
The Instagram video is not currently available. The name of the teen has been withheld because she is a minor.
