WOODLAND HILLS—The building that was once home to the Daily News has been torn down. Bob Pool, now a retired Los Angeles Times staff writer, shared a photo of the former Daily News headquarters in Woodland Hills being demolished via Twitter on April 10.

He tweeted, “They’re tearing down the former Daily News building on Oxnard Street in Woodland Hills today.”

The building was home to the newspaper for 21 years. The staff collaborated there to distribute the paper after the 1994 earthquake in the region.

The Los Angeles News Group newspaper relocated the publication to a smaller location in Woodland Hills back in 2008.
