BEVERLY HILLS—The City of Beverly Hills has teamed with many cities across the country in the
United States to participate in acknowledging the month of July as Park and Recreation Month. This year’s national theme is, “Out is In.” The Community Services Department is inviting adults and seniors to get the opportunity to have one free class of their choice for the month of July.

“Parks and recreation play an important role in maintaining a high quality of life for our community, ensuring the health of residents, and contributing to the economic well-being of Beverly Hills,” commented Community Services Director Steven Zoet. “This month, we are encouraging residents to go outside, try something new, and get involved in one of Beverly Hills’ amazing programs.”

According to a press release from the City of Beverly Hills, the “Try It You’ll Like It” offer allows more than 10 different classes to be selected ranging from Scottish line dancing to Zumba for adults 18 or older. Seniors, 55 and above have the option of 14 active adult or senior classes that include French for fun, yoga, acting, balance, dancing, stretching and multi-media art.

Those interested in partaking in the offer can download a coupon and redeem it to receive a free adult class. All classes will be held at the new Roxbury Park Community Center on

471 South Roxbury Drive. The offer expires at the end of the month. A list of all classes available and to download the “Try It You’ll Like It” coupon visit www.beverlyhills.org/tryit or call 310-285-6840.
