TOPANGA CANYON—A full closure of Topanga Canyon Boulevard was announced for Monday, October 7 starting at 11:30 p.m. through 5 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
As part of a $2.9 million Senate Bill 1-funded pavement project, Topanga Canyon Boulevard will be closed overnight from PCH and Grand View Drive from October 7 through Thursday, October 10, as described by a bulletin issued by CALTRANS Twitter account.
There will be one-way traffic control along various locations of Topanga Canyon between Mulholland Drive and Grand View Drive from Monday, October 7 to Thursday, October 10 between 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. This also includes one-way traffic control between Mullholland Dr iveand PCH on both Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 between 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.
While the town of Topanga will remain open to motorists, they should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes if possible.
All work is weather permitting and is subject to change. The pavement project is meant to repair distressed pavement and improve pavement life.
