LOS ANGELES-”The Greater Los Angeles Area on Deafness (GLAD) will be celebrating International Deaf Awareness Day on April 12.

 

The event will be held in ASL and will provide food, entertainment, vendors, booths, panel workshops, and door prizes. It will start at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 4:00 p.m. and will be held at GLAD located on 2222 Laverna Avenue in Los Angeles, CA.

 

In a vlog done by GLAD, they explain that the event is meant to encourage togetherness share heritages by embracing different cultures from all over the world and to make a difference.
