LOS ANGELES—The Greater Los Angeles Area on Deafness (GLAD) will be holding ASL classes for fall 2014. The classes are non-credit courses that will be held once a week for 10 weeks. The classes held will be two ASL I classes and one ASL II class.

The first ASL I class will be held on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. starting on September 10 and ending on November 12. The second ASL I class will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. starting September 13 and ending November 15.

The ASL II class will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. starting on September 13 and continuing until November 15, as well.

To attend the classes, students must register for the class before Friday, September 5. Students must pay $60. GLAD also requires that all the students in the ASL classes purchase “Signing Naturally Student Workbook” for their class level; the books can be found online or through other vendors.
