LOS ANGELES – The Greater Los Angeles Area on Deafness (GLAD) will be holding free income tax preparation services on April 5 and April 7 in acknowledgement of the tax season drawing to a close. The event will be held at GLAD, located at 2222 Laverna Avenue in Los Angeles.
Those who wish to attend are asked to bring the following items: social security cards for everyone listed on the tax return, two forms of identification, birthdates of all individuals present on the tax return, all W-2s/1099s/other income tax reporting documents, documentation of all deductions /credit claims i.e. education credits, documentation supporting a claim to a dependency exemption (Form 8332 or Form 2120,) day care provider’s identifying number and receipts (if applicable,) bank routing and accounting numbers for direct deposit, a copy of last year’s federal and state returns (if available,) landlord’s contact information (if paying rent.)
