STUDIO CITY—Catching up with Grace Ormonde, who is one of the busiest women in publishing and wedding planning, is a treat. The beautiful lady teaches women how to make that special wedding day a real dream come true. The local artist manages to piece together a book that expresses everything about what makes everyone’s nuptials their special day. With wars, environmental disasters and everything that seems to be going wrong in the world front and center on the news. Ormonde tries to offer with this exciting new book an opportunity for a wedding to become a family event filled with love, dreams and excitement, and not just stress.

Q – What made you decide to write “Grace Ormonde Weddings”? Being in love never goes out of style?

A- “I decided to write this book because I feel that there’s so much going on in the world that is tragic. There’s a war going on and so much sadness going on that this is the one thing we all have in common in the world: People falling in love. I felt it would be great to create a book to inspire those people in their celebration of love.”

Q-Have you always been involved in wedding planning and design?

A-“No. I just looked at myself as a true Editor”“in-Chief of an internationally distributed magazine.”

Q-Your book is a luxurious copy, great photos, beautiful designs. Was this a collaborative effort?

A-“Yes. No one ever does anything alone. I have an amazing designer that’s in Cypress that helped me with the design of this book. And, even though I put the puzzle together myself, the color correction and captions and so many other aspects of getting it ready was a collaborative effort. There are so many amazing people that helped me with this project.”

Q-In these tough economic times, is it possible to still have a gorgeous, elegant wedding on a budget?

A-“Yes! Everyone can have a gorgeous wedding. The budget is not what matters. What’s most important is the wedding is done with style and taste.

Q-What did you want to do with the writing and publishing of this book?

A-“I didn’t write a huge amount. What I wanted to accomplish in the writing of this book was for people to actually read what I wrote because the words are meaningful. In the publishing, I wanted to inspire women to have the most beautiful weddings they had envisioned for themselves. Plus, I also wanted to inspire designers all over the
world.”

Q What subjects are covered in this book?

A-The subjects that are covered are love, commitment, diversity and trust. I included my favorite weddings that I’ve published in all of my magazines. There are over 100 pages in tabletop designs, over 40 pages of my favorite cakes, over 40 pages of my favorite boutonnieres, over 40 pages of my favorite food shots, over 40 pages of my favorite bouquets and over 40 pages of my favorite ceremony designs and lounges.”

Q-Where is this book available?

A-The book is exclusively being sold at my VIP Book Launch Parties taking place in 22 cities and four countries abroad or online atweddingstylemagazine.com
