LOS ANGELES—After nearly a quarter century, the “classic” lineup of Guns N’ Roses will reunite at the famed Troubadour on April 1. Fans camped out in sleeping bags and lined the streets. In hopes of getting one of the 250 tickets available. Tickets are only $10, absolutely no cell phones will be permitted, amid strict security.
The show is set to begin sometime after 11 p.m. This is a tuneup gig leading up to headlining the Coachella Muusic and Arts Festival Saturday, April 16, and again April 23.
GnR’s classic lineup is lead singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan-and possibly original drummer Steven Adler. Coincidentally Adler cancelled his own show at the Whisky A GO GO set for tonight. The Troubadour is the ideal setting for die hard fans, a walk down Sunset Strip’s memmory lane.
Although the the band has anounced dates for their upcoming, “Not in This Lifetime” North American tour, unfortunately, no Los Angeles date was included. Making tonights concert an epic event.
This show will certainly satisfy the appetite of the fans who are excited to see Axl and Slash onstage together.
