MALIBU—Malibu along with other Los Angeles County beaches, expected waves as high as 10 feet on Sunday, May 3. The National Weather Service issued a high-surf advisory to alert residents in the area.
The high-surf was expected to continue through Monday and culminate by Tuesday night.
Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica Beach were expected to reach 4 to 6-foot-high waves, according to the weather service advisory.
