MALIBU—The city of Malibu is partnering with the Malibu Task Force on Homelessness for a holiday collection drive focused on serving the homeless community.

“Lend a helping hand this holiday season, and donate items to support Malibu’s homeless. The City is teaming up with Malibu’s volunteer Task Force on Homelessness and People Concern, the largest homeless services agency in the West Los Angeles area, on a Holiday Collection Drive for Malibu’s homeless. Please donate socks, new or lightly used winter clothing, non-perishable snacks (granola bars, beef jerky, protein bars) water bottles, and toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, deodorant, cleansing wipes). Drop off items in collection bins at City Hall through January 31, 2017. The People Concern team will distribute the donated items as part of their ongoing outreach to provide services and assistance to Malibu’s homeless individuals” reads a Facebook post announcing the holiday homeless donation drive.
