HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Superman impersonator, Christopher Dennis, 52, was found dead Saturday, November 2 in Van Nuys.

The body of the man who was known as the Hollywood Superman for over 25 years, was found in a donation bin. Dennis was known for donning the Superman suit from the cape down to the tights and taking pictures with fans on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Dennis suffered tough times after he was beaten and had his costume stolen, making it impossible for him to gain work. Along with being known as a tourist attraction, Dennis made several appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and appeared in the documentary, “Confessions of a Superhero” in 2007. He also appeared in the 2015 documentary, “The Kid” based on his life.
