BEVERLY HILLS —Hollywood’s most handsome men has become a popular feature, with readers adding their feelings about what makes some of the stars in Hollywood stand out above and beyond their competitors. This week the choices include three men who have all appeared on soap operas, but who are a lot more than just very handsome faces. Thom Bierdz is not only a talented and handsome star of “The Young and the Restless,” but he is also one of Hollywood’s most sought after artists with a list of clients that reads like the invitation to the Governor’s Ball on Oscar night, Texas Battle who stars as Marcus Logan on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” is boldly handsome and extremely well raised and polite, while Mario Lopez appeared on “B&B” as well, but has proved he’s got the skills to host and also to dance as he won over critics and viewers of “Dancing With The Stars.”

Bierdz not only acts and paints, the very genteel native Midwesterner is also a bestselling author of his autobiography “Forgiving Troy,” which is also winning literary awards. Thom also has become a well known spokesman and advocate for human rights and will be honored this month in NYC as he has recently been honored in the nation’s Capitol and also in Atlanta. Thom is the only openly gay actor who has been a contract player on any soap and he does his best to bring exposure to the need for equal rights not only in entertainment but in our world.

Texas Battle has female fans of the most watched show on the planet going to the doctor to check their blood pressure. Not only is Texas a sexy and handsome star of “B&B,” but he’s also one of the most well-raised and extremely polite young actors in all of Hollywood. Texas manages to keep his composure even when a female fan at a local Ralph’s grocery store in Hollywood screamed, “Marcus!” Yes, when actors are doing a great job in their roles many of their fans have a tough time differentiating between the character and the actor. With superior writing by head writer Bradley P. Bell, it’s hard to forget Marcus, as it is absolutely impossible to forget Texas in more ways than one.

Mario Lopez has played a doctor on “B&B,” has hosted a very popular nationally syndicated entertainment series, broke young girls’ hearts on the hit Saturday morning series “Saved by the Bell” and danced his heart out on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Mario can’t hide those dimples that warms many hearts of his fans and he’s also not only handsome, but has the on-screen charisma that will find home on the big screen. Lopez is just one film away from becoming the next Rudolph Valentino.
