BEVERLY HILLS-The Beverly Hills Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred on the 400 block of Doheny Road on Friday, May 30. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m., where an elderly male and female resident answered a knock on their front door and were confronted by three masked men, at least one of them was brandishing a hand gun.


The suspects tied up the victims and demanded property. Canyon News spoke with Sgt. Max Subin from the BHPD via email who indicated the female was shot and sustained non-life threatening injuries to her leg.

 

The suspects took an unspecified amount in property and fled the residence from the front door before entering a vehicle and traveling eastbound on Doheny Road. The victims were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.


Authorities conducted a search in the region for additional suspects with assistance from the Santa Monica Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The suspects are still on the loose. Anyone with any information on the case is asked to contact the Beverly Hills Police Department.
