These individuals will invest their time in and around the city of Beverly Hills from July 21-24, as they take the time to prepare for the World Games.<\/p>\n<p>The World Games will be held in Southern California from July 25 \u2013 August 2, 2015. More than 7,000 athletes from 177 countries and territories will be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to host these very special athletes our City,\u201d said Mayor Lili Bosse. \u201cThey work so hard and their accomplishments are amazing and inspiring. We plan on giving them a real Beverly Hills welcome and showing them a wonderful time!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The City of Beverly Hills, the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Wanda Beverly hills Properties LLC, Rotary Club of Beverly Hills, and several other anonymous and individual donors will collaborate and provide the Special Olympics athletes and coaches with food, housing and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Host Town program gives each community an opportunity to showcase to the world what makes them special, but more importantly to provide citizens with a better understanding of intellectual disabilities that will lead to acceptance and inclusion for all,\u201d said Patrick McClenahan, President and CEO of LA2015. \u201cLong after the World Games are over, the memories of those three days spent at Host Town will leave a lasting legacy for Special Olympics Southern California and everyone who was touched by our athletes.
