LOS ANGELES\u2014Lob City was in full effect Wednesday, March 2 as the LA Clippers erased a 22-point deficit to go on and beat the Oklahoma City Thunder to tie for their largest comeback in team history.<\/p>\n
For three quarters it seemed as though the Clippers could do nothing right and the Thunder could do no wrong.<\/p>\n
At the start of the fourth quarter the Clippers trailed by 17-points and the reserves took the floor.<\/p>\n
\u201cI went out to start the fourth quarter, and Jamal Crawford looked at me and said, \u2018We\u2019re going to get us back in this thing by the time you guys get back in,\u2019\u201d said Chris Paul. \u201cI don’t know if he’s fortune teller, but he did it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The bench may not have brought the Clippers all the way back into the game, but they certainly got the heartbeat of the Staples Center going again. They opened the fourth quarter with a 6-0 start and once the starters went back in the energy was there to build upon.<\/p>\n
Los Angeles went on a 22-3 run in the final five minutes of the game and held the Thunder to just five points in the final 7 minutes and 26 seconds of the game.\u00a0They outscored the Thunder in the fourth quarter by a total of 35 to 13.<\/p>\n
DeAndre Jordan had two clutch put backs, the second coming with a foul shot that he consequently made to give the Clippers their first lead of the fourth quarter. He finished the game with 20 points and 18 rebounds.<\/p>\n
Chris Paul finished the game with a double-double as well dishing out 13 assists and scoring 21 points to lead all Clippers.<\/p>\n
Kevin Durant of the Thunder led all scorers with 30 points and nabbed 11 rebounds.<\/p>\n
The Clippers currently sit behind the Thunder for third place in the Western Conference, so the 103-98 come-from-behind victory allowed them to make up some ground.<\/p>\n
