Chris Paul scored 24 points while adding 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the Clippers, who have won three straight games.<\/p>\n
Los Angeles made a season high 13 three-pointers on the night, with five of them coming from Paul. Blake Griffin narrowly missed a triple-double with a successful outing of 13 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists, while Deandre Jordan added 8 points and 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n
Paul was satisfied with his team\u2019s big win, and expressed confidence in the Clipper\u2019s continued dominance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe keep talking about not getting complacent. One of the biggest things we keep talking about is finishing,\u201d Paul said. We get excited about stopping teams and trying to keep them under certain numbers. That could be contagious all season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Detroit failed to match the dominance of the Clippers, trailing 32-62 at halftime. Andre Drummond led the Pistons offensively, scoring 15 points while adding 12 rebounds and making 6 of 10 field goal attempts. Detroit is now fifth place in the Eastern Conference at 4-3.<\/p>\n
Piston\u2019s head coach and president of basketball operations, Stan Van Gundy was critical of his team\u2019s performance in the loss.<\/p>\n
