HOLLYWOOD HILLS\u2014Singer and songwriter Harry Styles, of the English-Irish boy band One Direction, has placed his Hollywood Hills home on the market for $8.495 million. He reportedly purchased the contemporary-style home in January 2016 for $6.87 million.<\/p>\n
The 4,100-square-foot, multi-level home is situated on a quarter-acre lot above the Sunset Strip, with views of downtown and the Pacific Ocean. It features an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, according to the real estate website. The home also has a kitchen with a center island, a collection of terraces, a swimming pool, a gym, a home theater, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Tall bamboo hedges surround the outdoor spa and pool.<\/p>\n
The increased list price is due to the renovations Styles made to the property, according to listing agent Justin P. Huchel of Hilton & Hyland. Huchel indicated in reports that Styles is selling the Los Angeles home because he spends much of his time in New York and London.<\/p>\n
